Eleme’s Rising Stars: Chairman Ollor Celebrates Pupils Admitted into Real Madrid Academy

The atmosphere at the Eleme Local Government Council Headquarters was nothing short of celebratory as the Executive Chairman, Chief Obarilomate Ollor, welcomed a group of bright youngsters whose names are now etched in history as Eleme’s first batch of successful candidates into the Rivers State Real Madrid Academy, Port Harcourt.

Led by Hon. Joseph Ekee, and flanked by proud parents and dignitaries, the seven children arrived like champions-in-the-making. Their journey, which began with a simple application, has blossomed into an opportunity that could define their future.

The Story Behind the Success

Recounting how it all began, Hon. Ekee—former Adviser on Youth and Sports to the immediate past Eleme Council Administrator—narrated how a memo from the Rivers State Government opened the door. Determined to seize the opportunity, Eleme ensured its children were prepared. The result? Seven sparkling success stories:

  • Oliver Ollor (Onne Eleme)
  • Marcus Ogbu (Alesa Eleme)
  • Isaac Jonah Ollor (Aleto Eleme)
  • Christian Ochindo (Akpajo Eleme)
  • William Yemaah Owate (Agbonchia Eleme)
  • Godwin Ekee (Agbonchia Eleme)

These lucky seven will resume tomorrow at the Academy, beginning their first season under the world-renowned football training and academic program.

The Chairman’s Golden Words

For Chief Ollor, the occasion was more than a routine reception—it was a moment of hope and vision fulfilled. He paid glowing tribute to the political leader of Rivers State, Chief Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, whose dream birthed the Real Madrid Academy.

Turning to the children, the Chairman delivered a heartfelt charge:

“The only way to achieve greatness is to build a mindset of greatness. Be positive, keep your academics alive, take your Bible as your friend, and never allow anyone to make you feel that anything is impossible. I already see you on the big screen, playing for Real Madrid and making Eleme proud.”

With the warmth of a father, he encouraged them to dream big, hold fast to discipline, and never forget their roots.

Parents Speak, Community Rejoices

On behalf of the parents, Barr. Osilaolaka Ogbu expressed gratitude for the Chairman’s words of wisdom, describing them as “words on marble.” He joined in thanking Chief Wike for birthing the vision of the Academy and prayed that the children would live up to the destiny mapped out for them.

A Fatherly Touch of Support

In a practical demonstration of commitment, Chief Ollor went beyond words by providing financial logistics to ease the children’s welfare and smooth takeoff as they set off for the Academy. His pledge was clear: the Eleme Council will stand firmly by them throughout their journey.

A Proud Moment for Eleme

As the event drew to a close, there was no mistaking the pride that filled the room. For the parents, it was the joy of seeing doors open for their children. For the Chairman, it was the satisfaction of nurturing the next generation. And for Eleme as a whole, it was the dawning of a future where its sons will dribble, score, and shine on the global stage.

Prime Heritage Magazine can boldly say: Eleme’s stars are rising—and the world is waiting.
